There’s something extra special about getting to capture a couple’s story more than once.


With Steph & Rocco, it all started with their proposal last year - a moment that was already filled with so much emotion and meaning. So when they reached out again to capture their engagement session (and wedding!), I was honestly so excited to continue documenting their journey.


A Soft, Vintage Feel

Steph mentioned early on that she was drawn to that old film, slightly vintage look - something timeless and a little nostalgic.

Nothing too over the top, just subtle tones, soft light and moments that feel like they could’ve been taken years ago.

So that’s what we leaned into.


Wandering Through Vaucluse House & Strickland Estate

We started around Vaucluse House, taking things slow and just walking through the gardens. It’s one of those places where you don’t really need to do much - the surroundings carry a lot of the mood.


From there, we made our way to Strickland Estate, where the light started to soften as the afternoon went on. Open space, a bit of coastline and just enough quiet to let things unfold naturally.


Keeping It Simple

There wasn’t a big plan for poses or anything like that.

Just letting them be themselves, moving around, chatting, laughing - those in-between moments always end up being the ones that matter most.

Steph & Rocco made it easy.


Looking Ahead

It’s always nice getting to document more than just one moment for a couple.

From their proposal to this, and now leading into their wedding, it’s been really special being a small part of their story.
