Bells ringing and the sun shining


When you mix a sunny Sydney afternoon, two stylish lovebirds, and a few iconic locations—you get magic.


Stephanie & David’s engagement session kicked off with a relaxed meet-up at Wynyard Station. The city was buzzing, the air crisp, and the winter sun gave us the perfect glow to work with. We started the shoot at The Royal George Hotel, a classic pub across the road that instantly gave us those laid-back, “first date” vibes. A quick drink, a few laughs and some natural candids to warm us up.


From there, spontaneity took the lead. Just around the corner we spotted JAM Record Bar, a retro-inspired gem with warm tones, vinyls lining the walls, and a quiet charm that screamed “photo-worthy.” Steph & David were all in, and the results? A mix of nostalgia, fun, and some seriously vibey frames.


As golden hour approached, we strolled down to Sydney’s iconic Queen Victoria Building (QVB). The old-world architecture, soft shadows, and cinematic arches made for the dreamiest backdrop. And just when we thought we had the moment all to ourselves—the Sydney Town Hall church bells chimed in. Loudly. Repeatedly. Every time we posed. We couldn’t stop laughing and started joking that it was a “paid actor” to hype them up.

Engagement sessions like this remind me why I love what I do. It’s not just about the big poses or picture-perfect shots—it’s about the unexpected laughs, the detours, and the joy of simply being in love.
